Mosaic Murals

In 2007, Mr. Israel Soto, principal of P.S. 57 commissioned me to create a mosaic mural. I told him I had never done a mural or a mosaic, but he trusted me to create the work. I taught myself mosaic and the project led to two other murals in the following years. The school children became both models and helpers in this 3 year project. Photos are difficult to obtain since each mural is placed at the beginning of stairs with a narrow passage between the wall and the stairs.
