An expression of bliss appeared in this drawing naturally, without preparatory lines or redrawing anything. Sometimes, the best way to draw is just let your nature take over and draw lines as you are inspired. Draw doodles, draw shapes that are easy and fun. Don’t get in the way of your hand. Sometimes we won’t like what comes out, but sometimes you will find what you were looking for.

Spontaneity has it’s benefits, even if we can’t always rely on it. Too much planning often robs a drawing of that magic touch. Tonight, my pencils invited the Magdalene to smile, and she did.
