Mother Earth, Our Healer

I’ve been listening to an interview in YouTube between Andre Duqum and Dr. Sue Morter. The concepts they discuss are really deep and varied, and touch on many ideas I am interested in and have explored through art.

I want to share one important concept Dr. Sue Morter mentions: connecting to the Earth in order to prepare and balance our being for higher vibrations that reach to Heaven.

Heaven and Earth have always been an important theme in my art, and I often draw or paint Mary Magdalene with natural elements. Drawing metaphors about the earth has been part of my work for many years, and little by little I have added these elements to my artwork honoring Mary Magdalene.

As Mary Magdalene becomes more earthy in my work, it is interesting to explore the human relationship with the Earth and the grounding energy so necessary for realizing our potential.

While I can only work with my imagination in a city apartment in the 6th floor, not touching the earth and so far from Heaven, I trust that the Earth is so powerful and so caring that she will take away our unbalances and heal them.

The beauty of the idea of the Earth taking in and dissolving what does not serve us, gives me great peace and great hope for humanity.
