Taking Inventory

After putting in our 10,000 hours, we will discover that we have a set of tools. These are the learnings along the path of practice. These discovered elements, after so many hours of work, are easy to execute. And when we put them all together, we have access to unlimited creation.

It’s time to take inventory, identify our tools—the elements of our craft—and claim them. Use them, rely on them, and do the work we are meant to do.

We must sit down, or stand up, and take the first step. It will be easy, because it’s all in our body and in our mind, and all around who we are. If we can take step 1 today, and step 1 again tomorrow, we will be closer to step 2.

And when we need to start over, we can still rely on what was profoundly learned.
