The Right Amount

Just a few thoughts on letting go of goals:
I heard a man say that we should let go of goals. I heard him just at the right time, on a day I was feeling overwhelmed by seeing my goals so far from my reach. And when I heard him, I thought, ”this might be the right path for me right now.” And for the rest of the week, I let go.
I let go of painting 5 paintings, I let go of using every minute, I let go of thinking about the future, I let go of inventing ways to change my life.
Instead, I went to the park, and the museum, and walked 40 blocks in the city. I invited friends over and cooked for them. I watched shows and cleaned my house. I did some work on my book, worked on just 1 painting that remains unfinished, and played with ideas. I slept late, but still worked a full day on my projects.
I concentrated on feeling gratitude and staying in a meditative state as much as possible.
And I healed from the flu, and stopped feeling pain.
It’s not a miracle. It’s just acting sane and doing just the right amount. I want to feel like this every day. That’s the real goal.
I consider this a message from Mary Magdalene. Sometimes she speaks to me through YouTube😁😉😍!
